Assist Now📰 Grand Free Eye Examination & General Medical Camp at Semmedu Panchayat Union Middle School
A massive free eye examination and general medical camp was successfully conducted at Semmedu Panchayat Union Middle School. This initiative was a joint effort by the Bharat Mithran Trust, Pondicherry Aravind Eye Hospital, and the Villupuram District Association for the Prevention of Blindness.
Key Highlights of the Camp
Led by Dr. E. Yogapriya, Block Medical Officer of Sathyamangalam, the medical team provided vital healthcare services to the local community.
Eye Care: Around 105 patients underwent eye examinations. Of these, 35 individuals were identified as requiring surgery and were referred to the hospital for advanced treatment.
General Health: Nearly 90 residents benefited from general medical check-ups and consultations.
Distinguished Guests & Organizers
The camp was inaugurated by Mr. K.S. Masthan (Former Minister and Gingee MLA), who extended his felicitations to the medical team and organizers.
