Former Minister inaugurates eye screening camp

The free eye camp was organised by the District Blindness Prevention Society, Bharat Mithran Economic Development Trust, Manakula Vinayagar Medical College, Puducherry. Foundation founder Murugavel presided over the function. Former Minister Mohd. L. A. Inaugurating the camp, he said that he would provide spectacles to all those who would be treated. A total of 143 patients were included in the study. Of these, 11 were referred for surgery and 79 for spectacles.
